The HKUST Alumni Association in Ontario (AAO) is a dynamic and vibrant community established to support HKUST alumni and students in their lives after graduation, particularly those who have relocated or are considering relocating to Canada. We serve as a nexus for networking, career development, social interaction, and personal growth.

Founded in 1991, The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST) is a beacon of international research and education. With a passion for advancing knowledge in science, technology, engineering, business, and more, HKUST has soared to international acclaim. In 2021, it ranked 27th globally and 2nd among young universities, earning well-deserved recognition.
Our Founding Objectives
Our primary objectives are threefold: to facilitate the intellectual, educational, and cultural activities among our members; to establish meaningful connections with other university alumni associations, both from Hong Kong and Canada; and to support our members through grants, scholarships, and mentorship programs aimed at recognizing meritorious achievements.
