Dear HKUST Alumni and Friends,
We are thrilled to announce our next event, scheduled for November 20th, from 3 PM to 8 PM. This is a unique opportunity to meet and interact with Prof. Hung, a distinguished Computer Science professor (Faculty of Business and Information Technology) at Ontario Tech University and our esteemed President of the HKUST Alumni Association in Ontario. Joining him will be a special guest, a professor from the Hong Kong Baptist University (BUHK).
Event Highlights:
- Exclusive Lab Tour: Prof. Hung and his postgraduate students will guide us through his cutting-edge lab and showcase their latest projects. This is a fantastic chance for those interested in technology and research.
- Happy Hour Networking: After the lab visit, we’ll have a relaxed happy hour session on campus. It’s a perfect setting to meet new friends, seek study and academic support, and exchange ideas.
- Special Interaction: Prof. Hung, known for his friendly and resourceful nature, will share insights on academics and Canadian work culture. As he frequently travels for work, this event is a rare opportunity to catch him in person.
Remember our last visit to Ontario Tech University during Christmas 2021? We had a great time sharing HKUST culture with the students and enjoying a pre-Christmas dinner. This event promises to be just as fun and engaging!
